Sep. 7 – Brussels, Belgium. Prokofiev n.3 with Orchestre National de Belgique  (This was the opening concert of the orchestra's season. It was later reviewed in the Belgian newspaper Le Soir, and broadcast on Belgian radio.)

Sept. 25 London, England. Brahms n.1 with Philharmonia Orchestra under M. Pletnev
(At this concert, Nikolai Lugansky and Mikhail Pletnev replaced pianist Yefim Bronfman and conductor Esa Pekka Salonen at short notice. This was the opening concert of the Philharmonia Orchestra's season at the Royal Festival Hall, London. It was reviewed in The Times , The Independent and The Guardian .

Oct. 10&11 -  Paris, France. Mozart n.21 KV467. Orchestre de Paris under C. Eschenbach (The second of these concerts was broadcast live on France Musiques.)

Oct. 18 – Bordeaux, France. Recital (This recital was later broadcast on Radio Classique, France)

Oct. 23 – Montpellier, France. Recital

Oct. 29 – London, Great Britain. Wigmore Hall. Recital (This concert was reviewed in The Daily Telegraph and broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 . The encores were broadcast the following Sunday on BBC Radio 3.)

Nov.6-10 – Great Britain. A tour with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra under Eri Klas. Rachmaninoff. Rhapsody op.43.

Dec. 7 – Moscow, Russia. Festival December Nights of Sviatoslav Richter. Wagner-Lugansky, Brahms, Chopin.

This year, the festival was dedicated to the life and work of Marcel Proust. Nikolai Lugansky gave the world premiere of his own original transcriptions of music from Wagner's Goetterdammerung.)
